Boost Your VSC Sales!

A Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) is the most important product we offer to most customers. Although the features of the protections available are comprehensive, most customers relate to the benefits. Vehicles are becoming more and more complex. The technology and component integration on that five or six-year-old vehicle the customer is trading in is most likely much less complex than the vehicle they are purchasing today.

As the vehicles our customers purchase evolve and change at a rapid pace the benefits the customer sees in the VSC really doesn’t. What hasn’t changed is that most customers are on a budget of some kind. Most customers depend on their vehicle to get to work, chauffer their kids to all their activities and drive them to and from on their day-to-day routine.

When offering a VSC keep in mind that the main benefit of the VSC is protecting their budget and savings from the unexpected. Once you mention budget protection, talk about the how the unexpected problem makes them feel when it interrupts their busy lives and throws off their schedules. Share how the VSC can provide not only financial protection but also the peace of mind of an uninterrupted life style. When you do, it reinforces the benefits of the VSC in a way they can relate to and are more likely to enroll.

What's The Difference?

The new year has started and if you are like most competitive members of the sales community, you have looked at what you achieved by measure of what you made in 2018 and planned to exceed that amount in 2019.

As the definition of insanity is doing the same things over-and-over again and expecting different results, the question I have for you is, “What’s the difference?”

Essentially, what I mean by that is what exactly will you be doing differently this year that will propel you to improved results? What is your plan? Your goal to improve is a great start but having a goal to improve without a plan may just be fantasy. You must create a plan.

Having a goal; having a written goal; having a written goal with a written plan; following up on the plan daily, assessing progress, and sharing it with another person for accountability will get you on the road to a fatter 2019 W2.
